To extract a single file or folder, double-click the .zip file to open it and drag the desired contents to a new location. To extract the entire contents, right-click it, select "Extract All" and follow the instructions.
Double-click the .zip file and, once the extraction is complete, the unzipped contents will be available on the same directory.
Open the command line, open the folder where your .zip file is in (e.g.
cd Downloads) and enter the unzip command:
unzip "file name.zip".
